Working in customer support has been pretty eye-opening in that it entails speaking to people of all ages, races, and backgrounds: southern folk will call and say “Oh hotdog!” when they mess up or foreigners will call with the heaviest of Russian accents. It’s especially nice when customers provide words of encouragement like when grandmas say “Oh! Bless your heart! You are such a sweetheart! I hope you have a very blessed day!” Occasionally, we’ll get encouraging emails as well. A customer sent an email today titled “Friday verse”, and the body of the email said:
May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy.
